History and Accomplishments

JT Biohistory Research Hall was formally established in April 1993 in Takatsuki, Osaka Prefecture, and opened to visitors in November of that year. Our organization includes a Laboratory Sector, where we advance experimental research, and a Communications & Production Sector, where we express scientific ideas and findings. We also have a cultural aspect as a bridge between the life sciences and other academic specialties, as a facility that is open to the public and invites us all to explore what the life sciences teach us about being alive, what, as humans, is our place in this world, and what, as responsible citizens, we can do to make it a better place to live.
